Caring for hair and keeping it as healthy as possible should be one of your top priorities if you really love flowing hair and don't want to reduce it. I use scrunchies when I'm hanging out the house because they're soft and do not put pressure on locks strands. I need scrunchies another so I can wear them in public.
Colored hair is more delicate because it gets stripped of its natural moisturizers. So it's best to keep other substance processes like straightening treatments or perms - or even new color - to the very least. Chemically treated hair is commonly porous.
